Sarah Young wrote this collection of devotional readings after a period of profound anxiety and spiritual searching. Each entry is written in the first person voice of Jesus speaking directly and intimately to the reader, drawing on scripture but rendered in warm, accessible and deeply personal language. For any reader navigating anxiety, fear or the relentless pressure of daily life, Jesus Calling offers something rare: the sense that you are personally known, personally loved and personally accompanied through whatever you are facing. One of the most widely loved devotional books of the past quarter century.
